Normally, the Windows computer will automatically recognize or update the drivers needed for the device as soon as you plug it in on the USB port. But sometimes there are issues on Windows not automatically updating the drivers. If this happens, you will need to manually update the drivers. When installing MLNXOFED without DKMS support on Debian based OS, or without KMP support on RedHat or any other distribution, the initramfs will not be changed. Therefore, the inbox drivers may be loaded on boot. In this case, openibd service script will automatically unload them and load the new drivers that come with MLNXOFED.
